How to contact me to get a specific offer for an image ?

How much does licensing a high-resolution photo cost?

 The basic price for a RM picture for a one-time inside editorial use is set at 90 Euro

The cost of licensing a photo for usage other than inside-editorial use depends on several factors. Since these factors are unique to each license it is impossible to quote license prices without knowing the usage details.

What file format and resolution are your licensed photos distributed in?

High resolution photos are distributed using the jpg-format. However images are generally taken using camera RAW format that is available on specific request.

Images who's names start with

  • ¨ 3-xxx ¨ are taken with a resolution of 12,3 million pixels (4288 x 2848).
  • ¨ 2-xxx ¨ are taken with a resolution of 5 million pixels (2560 x 1920).

All photos are distributed in 8bit RGB color mode and have an embedded Adobe RGB 1998 color profile. All licensed photos are also captioned with the photo's photo ID#, title, description, copyright info. This info is also embedded in the file.

How will I receive the high-resolution photo once I have purchased a license?

 An account is created on our server for each new customer that purchases a photo license. Once payment has cleared an email containing the photo download instructions and password is automatically sent to your email address.

Who holds the copyright to the images of Simonographie?

 Dirk Schreiber holds the copyright to all the photos on this web page and reserves all rights to use, reproduce, distribute, license or sell any photo found on this website.

Can I download a photo from the web page ?

 Yes, of course, but only for non commercial purposes. Each photo includes a watermark that is not permitted to be deleted. Within the photogallery you will find at the bottom right area a button ¨ ↓ ¨. After clicking on this button, a new site is opened with the image that you can download.

What is a rights-managed (RM) photo?

 Rights managed images are essentially rented from a photographer and a price for specific use is negotiated.

Rights managed photos are priced according to a set of factors, including the intended use of the photo, the photo size, the duration of use, and the distribution of the photo. When you license a rights managed photo, you aren't buying a digital photo, but rather the right to use that photo in a specific way and for a specific period of time.

Can I purchase digital files to make photo prints myself?

No, we do not license our high-resolution stock photos for the purpose of making prints for home or office decor. Our high-resolution stock photos are available exclusively for editorial and advertising purposes. Fine art prints of the photos found in our collection can be ordered by contacting us directly.
